Software asset intelligence
Software asset management that shows what you use and pay for
SeatRova is a software asset management (SAM) tool for IT and procurement teams. It shows what is installed on every device, which applications people actually use, and which seats to review before the renewal date, in one inventory, at $10 per managed endpoint a year.

What SeatRova does
SeatRova installs an agent on Windows workstations, servers and virtual desktops, with a macOS agent in early access. Each device reports its hardware, operating system, installed software and application usage as soon as the agent starts, then once a day.
- Software and hardware inventory: every device, model, operating system and installed application, searchable and exportable.
- Usage metering: foreground time per application, with idle and locked time left out and monitoring coverage shown beside every result.
- License optimization: purchased, assigned, installed and active seats kept as separate numbers, so unused and unassigned licenses are visible before you renew.
- Renewal tracking: a calendar built from license end dates, with a sign-in notice when a renewal is due.
A read-only, tenant-scoped API with signed webhooks makes the same inventory available to your own reporting. Every capability is in one plan at a published price.
Sample estate

Filter by device class, open a software title to see its evidence, and export the sample as CSV. Purchased, assigned, installed and active counts stay separate. Nothing here is customer data or a savings guarantee.

Reclaim candidates
Review, dismiss and snooze are reversible in the product. Here they stay in the browser.

How we calculate this
Candidate gross opportunity is active reclaimable paid seats times avoidable recurring cost. Realised savings need cancellation, seat removal tied to a bill reduction, or a renewal adjustment. Zero usage is not a reclaim when telemetry is missing. Unsupported models, including Microsoft 365 in this sample, stay not calculated.
How it works
From first device to first renewal decision
Three steps, and you can see the evidence behind every number along the way.
Deploy the agent
Install the agent on the devices you want covered. Each one reports as soon as the agent starts, then once a day.
See the estate
Hardware, installed software and application usage land in one searchable inventory, with coverage shown so gaps are never mistaken for unused seats.
Act before renewal
Review unused and unassigned seats ahead of each end date, record what changed, and keep projected opportunities apart from realised savings.
Enrolment, collection limits and tenant isolation are covered on the security page.
One connected inventory
What SeatRova covers
Inventory, usage, license position, renewals, health and the API all read from the same device and software records.
Track manufacturer, model, processor, memory, system disk, BIOS age, operating system and installed applications from supported Windows devices, with Mac inventory in early access. Explore endpoint inventory
Measure aggregate foreground activity with idle and locked time excluded, then view coverage and collection quality beside each result. Explore usage metering
5 seats bought and not assigned. 49 assigned seats show no recent activity. Identified opportunities stay pending until reviewed.

Collection limits
What the agent collects, and what it does not
Collected
- Hardware, operating system and installed software facts
- Total time each application is in use, with idle and locked time left out
- Device health, last seen and coverage
Not collected
- Window titles, URLs, keystrokes or documents
- Clipboard, browsing content or command lines
- Screen, session recording or file contents
What you can do with it
- Filter, search and export inventory
- Open evidence before a reclaim
- Keep projected and realised on different tracks
Who SeatRova is for
- IT teams who need a current software inventory without running a manual audit.
- Procurement teams who want usage evidence in hand before a software renewal.
- Mid-sized organizations that want software license management without an enterprise SAM contract or a large minimum asset band.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is software asset management?
Software asset management (SAM) is the practice of tracking the software an organization owns, where it is installed, and how much it is used, so license spend matches real need. SeatRova does this from endpoint evidence: installed software, application usage and the license position for each product.
How much does SeatRova cost?
$10 per managed endpoint a year, or $1 per endpoint a month, with an annual minimum of $1,200 and a monthly minimum of $120. Inventory, usage, licenses, renewals and the API are in the one plan. Prices exclude tax.
Do you guarantee savings?
No. This site talks about identified opportunities. Realised savings need a documented commercial change.
Who is SeatRova built for?
IT and procurement teams that need to know what is installed, what is used and what they are paying for before a renewal.
Which devices are supported?
Windows workstations, servers and virtual desktops. The macOS agent is in early access and covers installed apps, hardware and app usage.
How do I buy SeatRova or start a trial?
Request a 30-day trial for up to 25 endpoints, or ask to buy, from the contact page. Pricing is published at $10 per managed endpoint a year.
How do renewal notices work?
The calendar uses license end dates. A notice is a sign-in link, and the report downloads after sign-in.
What does the agent collect?
Hardware, installed software, health and aggregate foreground time by application. Not window titles, URLs, keystrokes or documents.
